Human pilot says he can't cope with the robot's aggressive tactics and warns 'the things we do as fighter pilots aren't working'

An AI pilot has beaten a US Air Force F16 Top Gun in the first ever simulator dogfight competition run by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to determine if man can beat machine in the sky.

The future of war is all drones and robots. Unless we reach a "Buck Rogers" point after a time when it's discovered that humans can go back to basics to exploit a fundamental weakness in AI/robot tech.

Here is a little test. Play any video game involving air combat. I promise you, if you were a hotshot fighter pilot, you will have your ass handed to you over and over until you learn. This AI test could have been run on any latest Gen PC or Game Console. I honestly believe this is bullshit because gravity and physics may not affect the pilot of an AI plane but it will seriously affect the plane. AI might not understand the limits of a plane and the pilot does.

Which is how you could exploit an AI weakness.

You pull G's in a modern fighter just like when you blast off in a rocket, except that in a fighter it can be even more extreme because of the jinking you do trying to escape enemy fire. ;)
