A 25-year-old black man who beat a white man unconscious last Sunday in downtown Portland turned himself in to the Portland police Friday morning, Fox News reported.
Multnomah County Detention Center booked the attacker, Marquise Lee Love, after he was charged with three felonies: assault, coercion, and rioting. He is held on $260,000 bail.
“I am pleased the suspect in this case turned himself in and appreciate all of the efforts to facilitate this safe resolution,” said PPB Chief Chuck Lovell.
Before the assault, Adam Haner, the white victim, crashed his car amid the chaos of the riots.
