They need a challenge chest which can only be done with animals and not humans. Someone developed a great Sars vaccine that developed antibodies. But as soon as the vaccinated animal was challenged by a wild virus, it died. Sars vaccine was cancelled. If Putin's vaccine survives the challenge, it sounds like a better alternative to the Gates version. Not that I would take either one.
