Threatening political violence if elections dont go their way was appalling, but that wasnt rock bottom. They kept digging. A leftist named Leo Guinan demonstrates how far they have descended by sharing the text message he sent to his parents after his father dared show support for Trump:
Due to the signs in the yard, the kids and I will not be down. The current occupant of the White House is preaching hate and violence, endangering the lives and safety of many of my friends. This is not acceptable to me at all. There is a complete disregard for women, minorities, science, ethics, and morality. Please consider if you support Trump that much. Because I hate him that much. I wanted to be upfront and honest about my feelings.
That is, he denies his parents access to their children and grandchildren to punish them for not submitting to his political views.
The author thought over this cruel act and then congratulated himself for doing the correct thing.
The lack of self-awareness is characteristic of sanctimonious progressives. Note that he denounces the president for preaching hate, then acknowledges within a few sentences that he himself is motivated by hate.
Moonbats cant win with rational arguments, so they bully. Thats why we have cancel culture and hundreds upon hundreds of Black Lives Matter riots. In the absence of pushback, their bullying will never stop, because their ideology is too narrow to encompass the concept of basic decency.
On a tip from Henry B.

"Dad, why can't we see Grandma and Grandpa?". "Because they didn't vote how I wanted them to". "But, Dad, I love them." "Yes, but I hate Trump". "Ya know, Dad, you are a real asshole".

RBG really despised Trump. So much so she stated in at 2016 interview that if Trump got elected then it would be time to move to New Zealand. She probably never expected Trump to win, and doubtless realized at some point making that statement in public was a gaff, but it shows her contempt for Trump, which may well explain her never retiring in spite of her numerous and severe health problems.
No doubt Trump was aware of her sentiments, but when a reporter asked him about RBG's passing, it was the first Trump had heard about it. And his unscripted response about RBG was gracious and most respectful.
And that is quite odd, coming from a president that "preaches hate and violence".
Here's how you can tell someone has an unbalanced view of Trump, and you can challenge these types to their faces. They can cite both good things and bad things about him. Anyone who can only tell you how bad he is without saying a single good thing has TDS. Yes people who can't articulate a single bad thing about Trump are also unbalanced, but that's not nearly as crippling to one's psyche.
Anther strong symptom of TDS: A propensity to destroy otherwise fine personal relationships over the Trump presidency. Like the guy in the article ready to break his family up over his inability to tolerate his parent's political views.
One day, studies will be done over cause of the mass psychosis that has befallen such a significant percentage of the American population during the Trump presidency.

A slew of other leftist celebrities also said that.
When has Trump EVER preached hate and violence?
Never, as far as I know. Of course to liberals, anything Trump says is "hateful."

Over time I became certain that the United States had taken a wrong turn after Kennedy was murdered. My concerns weren't party related but more focused upon the overall actions of the government rather than associating them to a particular party because so many times the critical issues or new laws would be portrayed as coming down to a close vote after bitter arguments only to pass with the vice-president casting the crucial vote. This play acting caused me to think about Jefferson's warnings about trends towards tyranny that do not rely upon one party or the other but continue regardless of which party is in power.
The descent into tyranny has continued in my lifetime only getting worse just when I thought it couldn't get any worse. Now most of the people in my circle are waiting for the next shoe to drop 24/7/365 ! The fact of the matter is that it's impossible for the average American with no ill will towards his/her fellow man can conceive of the horrendous plans that are oozing and slithering out of D.C. every day of the week.
Actually, the point I had intended to make was that my own personal assessment of the government wasn't based upon party platforms or even my disgust with the activities of the government that continued in an authoritarian direction regardless of which party was in control.
This election cycle is quite different. I am not in agreement with Trump on everything he's done such as his approval of moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem or speaking about vaccines without stating they will be voluntary.
That being said, he has done far more to restore America first objectives that are making things better for everyone that works and has a family to raise. After watching NAFTA/GATT/China in the WTO and many other harmful edicts orchestrated by both parties it's easy to see that Trump's position is pro America. His law and order position is to my liking even though I have been violated by cops personally but know the issue is larger than myself or my personal angst regarding police.
It seems to me that Trump derangement syndrome is very real but difficult to understand why it has such a large membership. I know much of it is being funded by organizations opposed to the U.S. generally, but how they recruit people to act out violently when these people are incapable of articulating even one reason why they're vehemently opposed to Trump, and why they'd vote for Biden or Harris except that they are not Trump is especially worrisome.
The area I live in is Trump country and I don't know anyone here that is a Biden supporter. Any conversation about the candidates results in laughter or incredulity that Biden will have (sane) people vote for him. I actually think being in an area such as the one where I live is dangerous. The media isn't portraying things and events honestly and we don't see the destruction being leveled against other Americans living in major cities that are taking the brunt of the violence and destruction that is not due to their actions, or even justified by the facts surrounding the issues being named as the cause.
