This case symbolizes what occurs in almost every case where the court determines the outcome it wishes to obtain regardless of the facts and evidence to be entered (or not) whenever the trial begins. The courts are filled with wordsmiths and corrupted/compromised judges, prosecutors, clerks, and administrators willing to do whatever is necessary to obtain the outcome that they desire.

I recall reading the transcript of a speech given by Gerry Spence in a commencement address wherein he told the Law students to look at each other knowing some would be defense lawyers and others prosecutors, and that those prosecutors would hide evidence, destroy evidence and lie continually to win their cases.

He was correct on all counts !
