Alabama mom killed by pack of dogs while walking

A mother-of-four died in Alabama Monday after she was attacked and mauled to death by a pack of dogs.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office said Ruthie Mae Brown, 36, was attacked in Nauvoo on Monday afternoon. The sheriff’s office did not say how the department was made aware, but when they arrived at the scene around 2 p.m., Brown was dead, according to People.

While some of the dogs are believed to be strays, at least two of the dogs have been claimed by one person.

So far no charges have been filed related to Brown’s death.
