It's interesting how the replay of the WW2 propaganda film discussed how Stalingrad was held so proudly by Russians as though the Soviet Union was a wonderful ally.

As for the Germans, no one can blame them for not surrendering, and no wonder why Germans preferred to surrender to western forces. They had a tough time.
