Looking up in Georgia. They are calling dead people who voted. If they are dead, then their votes will be subtracted. That will put Trump over the top. He won NC earlier today.

If they are dead, then their votes will be subtracted.

That' can't be done unless there's a record of who each of those dead people voted for. And while records are kept of the ID's of all people that voted, no record is normally kept of who they voted for. They do that so people cannot prove who they voted for, and thereby sell their votes.

If they are keeping that kind of record, fine, but it would surprise me. Otherwise, there are 2 piles of papers of voting records. One pile of ballots and a separate pile of voter ID information.

That' can't be done

When I go into polling place and they scan my I.D. in they give me a blank ballot. It has no identifying marks on it.

Now if these are absentee ballots then they must come in with some kind of identification and before the identity of the voter is separated from the ballot and the voter checked off the rolls, that is the only way to do it.

Otherwise they are whistling in the wind. ;)

Help me out here -- exactly when was NC won? Am hearing it as a new breakthru from some ppl and an established fact from others.

Has he just wrested NC from Bidet or did he already have it?

Fox has not yet called NC, GA or Alaska. I have a feeling they would have done it already but basically unplugged their department that statistically makes these decisions because Fox News reputation is now at risk.

So some places may have called NC for Trump while others are just afraid to make any statement about it at all.

And we thought being wrong with pre-election polls was embarrassing!

I saw that. How definitive is it?

Will anything in prexy politics ever be definite again.

The Supreme Court will be involved long before then. ;)

The last part of yer question is pertinent.

I believe the premise is a bit flawed though.

We should know something before 3 mos. is up for good or ill.

If we don't know by then, things will be shakey. Ammo up as they say.

What you say makes logical sense, P.

But from what I understand, whole blocks of tainted ballots (impeachable for one reason or another) will have to be tossed irrespective of whose name was ticked off in the box.
