Terminology on gender is constantly evolving, so it's important to stay on top of what words are ok and not ok to use. 

  • Transgender people can be asked invasive questions about their bodies. It's important to avoid phrases like "have you had the surgery" and "are you fully transitioned."

  • Telling a trans person they don't look trans can also be invalidating. 

  • Visit Insider's homepage for more stories.

Transgender terminology is constantly evolving and expanding, which is why it's important to stay on top of it to avoid saying something that is incorrect or hurtful to a trans person. 

Insider compiled a list of nine phrases that you should never say to a trans person that you may not have realized are transphobic.

I think that's the thing where bloggers spell out their gender preference, ei Dakmar: he/him.

It didn't seem necessary back when everyone understood biology.

I don't know for certain. Dissecting frogs was never my forte.

But what about transgenders? It sounds pretty mixed up to me. ;)

Sometimes I am just a bit naive and slow about things.

I recall my teacher in 2nd grade said I was slow as molasses in January. :-/

Hah -- that's well put. As the article shows the point is to be trendy, not to solve any actual gender problem. Gliberalism is about hatching and following crazy fads and forcing them on everybody else by law.... which always works out to the enriching and empowering of the jew establishment.
