This election is even more screwed up than Bush/Gore was. And that one ended up in Supreme Court.

After reflecting some more, I think they'll keep the Covid racket going well past January 20th. They'll milk it at least until they've been able to convince as many people as possible to take their vaccine(s) -- by medical hook, corporate crook, or state-wielded truncheon.

They've got too much invested in the vaccine enterprise to abandon it so soon. Too much money to be made, and too much opportunity to chemically pacify us mundanes -- or outright cull us either immediately via the vaccine's toxic effects or eventually via its sterilizing effects.

It depends on who you ask. Biden will want it to end on Jan 20. Big pharma wants it permanent.

There is still the non-clarity on whether "Cases" means infections/positive test results or if it means hospitalizations, but the above seems to make it clear that "cases" is simply positive test results, as there's no way "new daily cases" requiring hospitalization could be 200k while only 100k are in the hospital.

So the 200k figure means positive test results, of which only a small percentage will require hospital care. And of course the number of positive test results is directly related to the number of covid tests administered which may be much more now than it was 6 months ago.

As for covid deaths, that would/should/could indicate a worsening pandemic, except that hospitals are already motivated to inflate the numbers and attribute deaths to covid when they only had covid. So the death numbers are suspect also.
