In an interview with sycophantic late-night comedian Stephen Colbert, Joe Biden all but invited the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to continue the Hunter Biden investigation by prejudicing the case calling it “foul play” and professing Hunter Biden’s innocence.

“We have great confidence in our son. I am not concerned about any accusations that have been made against him. It’s used to get to me. I think it’s kind of foul play. But, look, it is what it is. And he’s a grown man. He is the smartest man I know, I mean, in pure intellectual capacity. And as long as he’s good, we’re good,” Biden told Colbert.

Biden’s comments gave every indication that if Biden becomes President, his Justice Department will shut down the Hunter Biden probe to spare Hunter Biden a possible prison sentence and to prevent the investigation from un-earthing the truth about allegations Joe Biden received kickbacks from his son’s business dealings.

One of Attorney General William Barr’s last moves before announcing his resignation was to appoint John Durham as special counsel to make his investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax would survive a potential change in administrations.

New acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen will face a similar decision.

When Donald Trump correctly called the Robert Mueller probe a witch hunt, the fake news media fell on the fainting couch about how the President was directly attacking the rule of law.

Joe Biden did the exact same thing except Joe Biden served in an administration that actively weaponized the Department of Justice against its political opponents.

That’s why many Americans believe it is vital that acting Attorney General Rosen appoint a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden because Joe Biden made it clear that if he becomes President he is a walking conflict of interest.
