Are there any gun shops extant anymore? WTF do they sell? Colanders of the "good ol' days?

Several gun shops around here, but they never have much on hand. "Oh, we can order that for you."

But I like to heft a gun before I buy it. And examine the stock if wood. Prefer that to ordering sight unseen.

So true. Pistols and shotguns really need to "fit" the operator's body, rifles, not as critical, especially if scoped.
