Parkes is promoting the idea that Q is a quantum computer able to predict the future and that we should trust the Plan (i.e. Q's plan). That is BS. Penny Kelly is a psychic whose followers pay to hear her crypto currencies predictions.

If you have not watched the series “WestWorld” on HBO, you should. Especially this who Quantum computer thing.

To be honest I think that this world is a simulation that is basically to test the rationality of subjects who are forced to endure perpetual bullshit to see if we’re capable of some middle management job on a space ship in the future.
