President Joe Biden has vowed to replace the U.S. government's fleet of roughly 650,000 vehicles with American-made electric models in a push for the use of 'clean energy'.

Imagine FBI driving electric vehicles chasing bad guys. Or EVs replacing Army jeeps.

"Electric and hybrid cars can contain 20 to 25 pounds of rare earths . . ."
A pain in the ass to dig up and refine. A pain in the ass to dispose of. Thinkin' Green.

When I took the test to become a Highway Maintainer on Illinois highways, there were a bunch of black guys taking it also. Many of them were scratching their heads. It was a common sense test.
I was maybe the 3rd or 4th to finish. You needed at least 90% correct to pass. I got my letter of appointment about a month later.
I reported to Northbrook yard and handed the letter to the Lead Lead Worker. He read it and said, "We haven't had a Probation here in three years."
That moment right there was solid proof I had clout. ;)

Dont be so negative, X. There's not much maintenance to do on EVs, pretty much just amounts to replacing the battery packs every 6 months to a year (for the PO's duty cycle) at a cost of only $25,000-40,000 per unit per changeout.
The savings will be at least $10,000/unit/year on gas. Bidet should have the price of gas up to the breakeven point of $10-12/gal (est).
Of course it'll cost $9 to mail a letter by then.
Maybe "Forever Stamps" might be a good investment opportunity, at whatever those things cost now.

If he keeps slipping mentally, he will be gone when they invoke the 25th Amendment. ;)

Next in line is Kameltoe. Then Peeloosley.
There's a saying, something about a frying pan and a fire, but it's escaping me right this second...
