The Superpower feud between China and the U.S. continues on Friday as the U.S. Navy sailed near the Chinese-controlled Paracel Islands in the heavily disrupted South China Sea, only to get an appropriate response from Beijing.

Iran is no threat to the USA, except to the degree that the US makes Iran a threat. The US could walk away from nagging Iran tomorrow and Iran would walk away from the US too.

China, on the other hand, is of course the most powerful communist country in the world with world domination ambitions to match. I would say the path to war with China is becoming well lit. If that happens we'd get to see if a hot war is possible without the use of nukes. I'd expect if either side started to lose severely, such as with land invasions, then nukes would be used by the losing party.

Estimates are China has several hundred nuclear missiles, while the USA has thousands. I would expect someone of Biden's character to surrender Taiwan to the CCP as appeasement if China got belligerent enough.

Fast backward to 1937..

WWII for the US started on Dec. 12 1937.

To try US resolve,Japan sank the US Panay IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY, not neutral waters. The US did nothing, Japan said they were sorry about killing Americans. Roosevelt took money and kept selling Japan oil and scrap metal.

Japan found out what they wanted to know. The US would not fight.

I had much older friend that served on Panay during the 1930s, lived in China for three years.

The question is, what will Biden and democrat communist government do if China confronts the US in neutral waters.
