In a recall election you have two items on the ballot. 1) Should the governor be recalled. Yes or No, 2) If this passes, then who would you want to replace the governor. The candidates are not just a Republican and a Democrat. In 2003 there were two Republicans and one Democrat. Unfortunately, Arnold Shwarzenegger won.
