More than a thousand people have been evacuated from their homes over fears a Kentucky dam could burst following several days of strong storms.

Kentucky flooding, if it leads to a dam failure, could flood central Tennessee to a 20 foot depth all they way to Nashville. This would sever the only east west highway in the area.
