If there's one cause of all this desire to migrate, I'd say it's the status of the US dollar as the world reserve currency. It has made the USA the economic hub of the world. The USA just prints cash and exports it while the rest of the world directs all their goods and services to the USA instead of to each other. Without the WRC status, the USA might not have this crises. Trump did well to keep it to a minimum but it wasn't stopped completely, and he obviously didn't address it from that angle. No one can as long as fiat currency theory reigns.

Once the dollar collapses and the WRC status is lost, most of these people might very well ex-immigrate back to their home countries.
