MSNBC host Joy Reid said Thursday on her show “The ReidOut” that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was the “modern-day” version of segregationist Gov. George Wallace (D-AL) for signing the state’s new anti-rioting law.

Reid said, “Republican state legislatures across the country are responding to the demonstrations over George Floyd’s murder with punitive new measures intended to discourage protests altogether. In the 2021 legislative session, lawmakers in 34 states have introduced more than 80 anti-protest bills. The vast majority of them drafted by Republicans. So far, four Republican governors have signed the measures into law, including in the state of Florida. If it wasn’t already clear that this is a direct response to the Black Lives Matter protests, governor Ron DeSantis actually cited the Derek Chauvin trial when he enacted what he is calling an anti-rioting law.”

HAHAHAHAAAAAA...... so glad miss joy is peeved! What an honor for DeSantis to be compared to Gov. Wallace. In effect she's calling him a monster racist and trying to agitate 'woke' demoniacs to ruin his life -- hope they don't.

I really don't know how there can be any market for her kind of media play -- hatomongering, demagoguing, incitement to riot and murder, constantly vilifying normalcy and everybody trying to preserve it. Another great example of the disastrousness of diversity.

I don't believe anything she or her ilk say. I would bet that not a single "anti- protest" bill has been introduced, unless its purpose is to ban normal folks from protesting abnormalcy. The bills she's referring to aren't "anti- protest" bills; they're anti-riot, -assault, -mayhem, -murder, -roadblocking, -arson, - window- smashing, -looting, etc. bills.

All of which is already illegal, but there's no drama in that.
