The Fed foolishly cheers this. Consumers sure don't...

Poster Comment:

That surge in food prices is not quite as steep as the rise in M1 Money Supply which is growing faster than Argentina's for a total of at least 2,000% from October 2019 to summer of 2022.

All that bailout money that the banks got along with the money they got from the stimulus was used to buy MORE futures. Who do you think is propping up the stock market?

Who do you think you are competing against in the marketplace? Your own tax dollars.

All that money is pushing prices higher. But Biden is cutting backon food production. And the Feds just cut water supplies 95% in the Central Valley of California which is the most productive land in the world. Food is being sold to China. Prices going higher.

Am I seeing things or are they trying to kill us off?

ABC7 headline from 10 hours ago: '85% of California is now in severe, extreme, or exceptional drought, latest numbers show'. So all CA produce must be going to the hated chinks.

Without water there won't be any food going anywhere. China is mostly importing non-California crops like soybeans, wheat and the like.
