Two other reasons not to go to NYC. 1) NY state passed No Cash Bail so violent thugs are allowed out on the streets. NYC cut back on policing. Crime is going up. And it is making the news around the country. 2) NYC is over run with garbage and rats. I don't have to go to NYC for that. I could go to LA.
