Convicted drug dealer reportedly caught with crack cocaine and large amount of cash

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Bryan police say a convicted drug dealer is back behind bars after another arrest.

According to authorities, police pulled over Charmel Robertson, 41, after he failed to signal several times Thursday around Bryan Avenue.

Robertson reportedly jumped out of the car and shoved a large bundle of cash into his pockets.

Officers searched the car after smelling marijuana.

They reportedly found almost $5,000 in cash and 3.3 grams of crack cocaine in a magnetic key box.

Robertson is charged with two counts of manufacture and delivery.

Bryan police say he has two previous convictions of the same crime in 2016 and 2011.
