Gas Prices Have Risen 40% Under Biden and Analysts See No End in Sight

According to experts, gas prices have risen 40% since Biden became President and there seems to be no end in sight. According to a report by AAA, Americans can expect gas prices to keep climbing for the next few weeks at the very least.
According to The Daily Wire:
“The national gas price average has increased 40% since the start of the year, from $2.25 on January 1 to $3.13 today,” AAA reported on Tuesday. “Moreover, it is not stopping there. Motorists can expect gas prices to increase another 10–20 cents through the end of August, bringing the national average well over $3.25 this summer.”
Jeanette McGee, AAA spokesperson, said that the surge in costs are in part due to negotiations falling through with OPEC, adding, “As a result, crude prices are set to surge to a seven year-high.”
The last time crude was more than $76.40 and the national average gas price was at $3.25 was November and October 2014, respectively. Prices for crude will exceed this threshold as early as today and gas prices will follow suit in coming weeks, paving the way for a very expensive peak driving season.
The latest weekly report from the Energy Information Administration shows that gasoline demand remains robust at 9.1 million b/d, despite a weekly decrease. EIA reports that gasoline stocks increased by 1.5 million bbl to 241 million bbl last week. Since last Monday, the national average increased four cents and is more expensive on the month (+8 cents) and the year (+95 cents).
Experts also indicate that Hurricane Elsa could have an impact on gas prices in the region. However, when Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki was pressed on the climbing gas prices and how it’s negatively impacting everyday Americans she seemed to brush off the concerns.

Actually, no I do not recall. I was driving trucks back then. Diesel was higher priced since truckers needed it.
First company paid cash for their fuel since there was 3 or 4 cents a gallon discount.
The second company we had company credit card and used Flying J exclusively.
But one time I was in Kentucky with a load going to Ohio near Cincinnati. It was snowing pretty hard and the cars started to slide off the road.
I got off at the next truck stop and found a place to park. Then I called the dispatcher and she rescheduled the delivery for 1000 the next day. It was the right thing to do. ;)

40%? I make it a lot closer to 100%, but I haven't dissolved my brain with the 'miracle vax'.
OMFG, I'm surrounded by rocket scientists. It's a great leap-of-faith to think that shutting down a half dozen pipeline projects and stopping drilling on federal lands would have a negative impact on gasoline prices.

Don't worry too much, I hear Putin and Xi are spending most of their time in and out of hospitals from acute stomach cramping and shortness of breath from laughing so hard about Bidet.
