The Taliban will use 10,000 plus Americans as hostages to get their gold back. And then they will ask for reparations. The US bankers will be willing to print money but want to keep the gold. Proper Muslims would want to have gold and silver coins for currency. Maybe a few no-interest paper notes and checks, sort of like Lincoln's Greenbacks.
