125 employees of Indiana University Health have been terminated after choosing not to comply with the hospital’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

IU Health said Thursday the 125 employees left after a two-week unpaid suspension period meant to encourage workers to get the shot ended September 14.

IU Health, Indiana’s largest hospital network, did not elaborate on what positions were affected, but that 61 of the 125 former employees had worked full-time.
