During the Vietnam War, US tankers had to undergo their baptism of fire, learning how to fight against a guerrilla army in hostile and unfamiliar terrain.

I knew a guy that was a Marine at Khe Sahn.
He told me a tank was leaving the base. A VC jumped up from behind a pile of rocks. He was wearing a satchel charge.
He jumped on the tank and pulled the det cord.
The tank was worth a half million and the VC was worth ten cents. :-/
