I think that when it comes right down to it, we could probably mop the floor with just about any country we wished as we do indeed have good soldiers in our ranks. What we lack, is leadership and that is what those other nations have. The average American Combat soldier has a lot more hands on real world experience than most of the militaries on earth. Not to mention years of programming to not give a shit about the feelings of other people so pulling a trigger is easy.

There are people my age who are as tough as these guys. Hell I walked on a broken pelvis for 6 months before I found out I had actually broken it.

My point is America is going to be okay, and this idiocy is going to be wiped clean from us after the first invasion force shows up.

Yeah, once you get below the upper echelons, the make-up quickly reverts to the mean. Goob and it's agencies are deeply divided. It's a big place and the left hand doesn't know what the right had is doing. Rest assured though, that what is happening is not incompetence. Knowing who is behind the guiding hand would be helpful, it's certainly not the clowns on TeeVee that are pretending to be in charge.
