And I get that but being an EMT is an in the field kinda thing, their is always gonna be risk. And if waiting on the cops means the difference between life and death the cops are all to willing to make a person wait till they die. Less paperwork.

While I was working for Illinois State Highways, the Bridge Crew was replacing a handrail on a bridge of the Dan Ryan Expressway on south side near the CHA Robert Taylor high rises.

The bullets started pinging off the concrete. They dropped to tools, jumped into the trucks and got the hell out of there.

It was unlawful at that time to possess a firearm in public housing. Now I understand those CHA buildings have all been torn down and the people who lived there have been moved out to suburbs into subsidized housing.

My sister told me she knew a woman out there who was a cop in one of those suburbs. She said, "Things are not the way they used to be."

Many of those blacks are into petty theft and drugs. Where the drug consumers are located, the drug dealers follow. :-/

When I lived in Chicago I knew this guy that was going to get nose to nose with this big Puerto Rican.

A littler Puerto Rican stepped out from behind the big one and shot him once in the Solar Plexus. He took one step and fell over dead.
