We burned a huge black hole in the lawn with a flame that you could not look at. I was so hot that when you dumped water on it, the water would dissociate. The resulting flame was even more enormous.
A lithium conflagration is something like that, and most fire departments aren't equipped to deal with such an emergency.
The whole lithium thing, from the resource mining to production and disposal is totally UN-GREEN.
