That reminds me of the time several years ago when my delightfully ivoryphilic little wife saw a billboard in Spanish advertising starter homes for sale -- ¡con septico!, etc.

"Why do they have to do that?", she asked.

"Do what?", I replied.

"You know -- put it in Mexican. Why can't they just put it in White?"

Bravo Tucker for taking on the huge, mostly unmentioned matter of language twisting and torturing. But POC is the least of our worries with 90% of conservs still calling Bidet the president, CovAIDS a 'pandemic' and these devilish injections 'vaccines' ;)

This doesn't remind me of when Harry Reasoner took a break from news crunching to do a documentary on sloppy English, because he was just a stupid, banal news reader making a stupid, banal flick. Tucker is a brilliantly perspicuous monumental truth hero ;)

Just now watching a documentary about the inventor Thomas Edison. It shows a picture of his wife teaching their young children c. 1890. The large reading chart has several sentences that seem a little strange today.

A rat ran to the pan.

The man has on his hat.

Lily can stamp her foot.

My dog ran at the tramp.

Had the man a cap on?

When I lived in Chicago I used to go into this wild joint named Carol's Pub.

Three Mexicans who sat at the bar called me Cabllero Grande because I always dressed nice and never got into any fights.

But one night these two black guys walked in. They tried to buy beer with the old paper food stamps. The bartender hollered, "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!"

One of the black guys starts shooting off his mouth. The doorman was this stocky little guy with a beard and a biker chain for a belt. He knocked that guy out with one punch to the head. The other ran for the door. He hit that guy in the back of the head. He fell against the doorknob and they threw them both out IN THE STREET. ;)
