When Will Kevin McCarthy Kick Liz Cheney & Adam Kinzinger Out of the GOP?

It’s hard to believe that after the past 11 months of their partisan Democrat antics, Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Ohio are still members of the Republican Party, at least in name. How much longer is Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) going to let this charade continue? Neither one of those losers is a Republican. Both have voted nearly 100% of the time with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D- CA) all year long, even on matters like the second fake impeachment attempt against President Donald Trump. It’s time to show those pathetic, true-blue partisan Democrats the door.

The state-level Republican Party in Wyoming agreed earlier this year that Liz Cheney is not a Republican – at all. They kicked her out of the party. As far as they’re concerned, Cheney’s name should be written with a D next to it. And that was before Cheney started carrying the water for Nancy Pelosi on the sham January 6 Show Trial Committee.

And Adam Kinzinger? He represents everything that the Trump-loving base of the GOP despises about True Conservatism, Inc.™ Kinzinger is a living science experiment that proves that males should not consume soy. Anytime a fight with the Democrats emerges, Kinzinger does what establishment GOP politicians have been doing for the past 30 years before Trump came along. He surrenders in a puddle of shame. If Nancy Pelosi barks an order at Kinzinger, he curls up on the floor in fetal position much like a scared puppy. Then he proceeds to cry and pee all over his tummy. It’s kind of repulsive to watch. Makes you wonder how bad those Kinzinger blackmail pictures in Pelosi’s desk drawer really are.

The GOP and Kevin McCarthy especially need to steal a play from the Democrat Party’s playbook. They need to ruthlessly wield power to crush the other team. Democrats are great at this, but Republicans… not so much. Only Donald Trump and more recently, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, have adopted a strategy of continuous, relentless winning for the American people.

McCarthy could do that tomorrow. Just hold a conference vote on whether Kinzinger and Cheney should be allowed to keep an R next to their names. And make sure that the vote passes.

It would also be a nice revenge vote for the way Pelosi and the Democrats have used their powers for evil this year. They voted to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) of her committee assignments. This was the first time in 232 years that one party in Congress kicked the opposing party’s member off of congressional committees.

A few weeks later, the Democrats kicked Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) off of his committee assignments, because he posted a humorous cartoon meme of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Twitter. Gosar’s mild teasing of Ocasio-Cortez was portrayed as attempted murder during the show trial. Oh, and by the way, guess how Kinzinger and Cheney voted on that?

And right now, Pelosi and the Democrats are working on a resolution to kick Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) off of her committee assignments. What was Boebert’s crime? She told a funny joke about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D- MN) at a fundraising event. (Boebert said she was on an elevator with Omar when a visibly nervous Capitol police officer approached. Boebert told the crowd she glanced at Omar and then told the cop, “She’s not wearing a backpack, I think we’re safe.” Hilarious!)

What would the Republican Party have to lose by kicking Cheney and Kinzinger out of the party, when the Democrats are acting like this? When the opposition party is fighting dirty and gouging you in the eyes, you’re not going to beat them by clutching your bow tie and adhering to the Marquess of Queensbury rules.

So what if it gives Nancy Pelosi another 2 votes in the majority? Kinzinger and Cheney already vote with Pelosi all the time anyway. Both Kinzinger and Cheney’s political careers are over next year anyway. Kinzinger is retiring next year. Don’t worry, he’ll probably land on his feet with a cushy job at the Obama Foundation. And toe jam is polling higher than Liz Cheney in her ultra-red state of Wyoming right now. She won’t make it through the primary next year.

Kevin McCarthy has a chance to send a message that will resonate with the voters in a big way next year: The GOP is a serious party now, and we no longer allow phonies to put an R next to their name.
