My ex co-driver's Daddy was in Checotah, Oklahoma in the 1930s. It was a boom town because of the oil and there was one killing per week.

Someone got the bright idea to check those old wells in Oklahoma and west Texas they thought had been pumped dry and there was oil in them again.

This is proof that peak oil is an absurdity, and that oil is a renewable resource.

We have known this since at least 2008. ;)
