Yeah, that’s been a thing for a few years now. It’s about data management and phone performance, but it’s also an intelligence gathering program, much like every website on the planet.

There is nothing in your life that is not tracked or can’t be found out with a simple press of a few key strokes. All it takes is someone wanting to know that information and Boom, they have it.

The real issue here isn’t so much that it’s Verizon, it’s that every platform, every manufacturer is doing this. Apple, Microsoft, Android, it’s how they profit. Not only are you the customer, but you are also a commodity they buy and sell. They sell everything to everyone, and you have no idea how much money you generate on any given day. If we knew how much we were actually worth to all these info traders, we could start demanding a cut of their profit. After all, it’s our information.
