You could make a fortune sorting that clothing out by size and marching it out in a temporary store and donating the money to charity and give the rest to a clothing bank. Alas, being "evidence", it will probably have to be destroyed in a special and expensive manner then end up in a landfill.

Kyle Rittenhouse is trying to get his AR-15 back from the government so he can supervise its destruction. I understand his reasoning, but I think he's making a mistake he will regret later on.

I'd pay $100,000 today for that weapon myself, have a high-line gunsmith disassemble it down to the last little pin, have each piece that is big enough, laser etched with the weapon's serial number preceded by the letters KR. Have fancy certificates printed up describing the part and origin. Each piece would be a 1 of 1 item. The parts too small to etch could be encased in Lucite and given a certificate. Auction each piece off and donate all the money to whatever charity. Kyle could do that and be a hero again.

It'd make millions. A lot of folks would be helped, and the firearm would be technically destroyed without being destroyed. It might help assuage his conscience, and he'd look good doing it. I can't even begin to imagine what a genuine, honest-to-by-God, Kyle Rittenhouse, double serial numbered, AR-15 lower receiver would bring at auction. Of course, that part would have to go through a licensed FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer who I'm guessing would pay a shit-ton of money for to have the privilege of doing.
