A fire of the magnitude could increase the cost of fertilizer and cut crop production this year. Some corn farmers saw the price increase (more than double) and switched to soy beans. Problem is that seeds went up in price too.The lesson is to get away from Big Ag. Feed coffee grounds to worms and you will get amino acids with Nitrogen that your plants can absorb directly.

Here is a thought. We can stop all these corn subsidies to make ethanol for cars.

Anyone ever get the impression that some of this stuff is on purpose? Remember that building and port in Iran that blew up that was a Fertilizer factory that they claimed was a munitions depot?

I am of the mind that nearly every last one of these strange events is on purpose in order to bring about some kind of economic survival of the fittest.

Extremely wise words, Horse. Ethanol in gas tanks is yet more sheer insanity from the "green" fiends like Algore and AOC. It's bound to'v ruined thousands of engines.

Absolutely! If anybody should be good at managing stores of fertilizer North Carolina should. If all the politicians and government bureaucrats were to suddenly disappear people would be shocked at how pleasant and normal and safe and happy life can be.

People could easily take stock of this reality at any time, but they'd rather die. "MY politicians corrupt? Oh no, never. Ours are different than the rest!"
