Lamon is running against Blake Masters, a Trump friend, who just moved to Arizona. Democrat Mark Kelly is the incumbent. Older white stock in Arizona were descendants of Confederate soldiers. They were conservative Democrats until Goldwater changed party affiliations. Note the men in the beginning of the ad who are backing up Lamon.

If I were running against a vaxxed and boosted candidate, I would pull this on him: "My opponent is vaxxed and boosted, he won't be healthy enough to finish his term. He has a 60% chance of having a blood clot and a 300% increased risk for cancer. I will take a test for clots and a battery of tests for my immune system. I will pay for his tests if he will show up to the same clinic on the same day and agree to make the results known."
