The megadrought that has been devastating the southwestern United States and parts of Mexico over the last two decades is the worst the region has seen in at least 1,200 years, according to a study released Monday.

Researchers with Nature Climate Change analyzed tree ring patterns, which delineate soil moisture levels over periods of time, to conclude that the current megadrought is worse than one that hit the region in the late 1500s and is the most severe since one in 800 AD.

The study, which analyzed a region stretching from southern Montana to northern Mexico and from the Pacific Ocean to the Rocky Mountains, found that human-caused global heating accounts for more than 40% of the severity of the dry spell.

It is all caused by those cow farts.

Cow farts, SUV’s, Weed trimmers, chainsaws, lawn mowers, breathing… You name it, it causes the droughts.

I mean, it could never be mismanagement of water reservoirs being dumped into the ocean or the fact that they have paved over nearly everything which prevents the rain from being reabsorbed. Could also be that there are tectonic plates moving and cutting off water aquifers too. Lots of variables, but no, it’s all Hoomans and Cow Farts, Climate Change……

Saw some useless prick driving this car today, gas powered with two bumperstickers. Fight Climate Change, and “What Did Al Gore Tell Us?” Some aging hipster driving out to get a soy latte.

The cars from 800AD only got like six miles per gallon, and no catalytic converters, of course.

We have 2 factors at work. Modern Ag is doing to our soil what Pfizer is doing to our bodies. Humus, top soil, minerals and soil biology are being washed away and/or destroyed. This requires more fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides for next year's crop. Tom Dykstra was in Africa and saw healthy crops being avoided by locusts. Why? Because unhealthy crops emit infrared signals asking pests up to 3/4ths of a mile away to come and eat them. The antennae of locusts cannot even detect healthy crops.

For every 1% of increased Organic Matter in the soil an acre can hold 25,000 more gallons of water. When Whites arrived in Australia (i.e. before mono-cropping), the soil scored as high as 37% Organic Matter.

The second factor is the Grand Solar Minimum that we just entered. The magnetism of the sun and the earth have declined. The decline of the earth's polar magnetism means that the Jet Stream can go walk about making for severe droughts in some areas and floods in others. Last year a farmer I follow online in Kentucky said he had 70 inches of rain as opposed to the normal 50 inches.

The Jet Stream can compress fronts together and this causes 6 months of rain to fall in 24 hours.

Crazies can take any fact and make up stories to fit their narrative but that does not deny the facts of wandering Jet Streams and the dire consequences of Big Ag.
