32 Democrats Not Seeking Reelection
Texas Democrat Filemon Vela resigned early from Congress. He wont even finish the year.
Rep. Ted Deutch of Florida announced in late February that he will not run for re-election this year. Deutch became the 31st House Democrat to decline to contest their seat in the midterm elections. The far left Democrat said he was leaving politics to become the CEO of the American Jewish Committee.
The five-term South Texas congressman confirmed he was taking a job with Akin Gump, a law and lobbying firm. Vela, who was among the first House Democrats to announce he would not seek reelection in 2022, said he has not yet determined the date of his final day in office.

This will start a hell of a by-election storm. Trump will campaign for the Republican in a heavily Dem district that Bidet nearly lost lost. If we are lucky, Bidet, Harris, Pelosi and Schumer will go to Texas to campaign for the Donkey. Beto can campaign door to door telling Texans they can't have guns. And Nancy Pelosi can read from pornographic library nooks peddled to grammar school students.
