Jill Forced to Rescue Joe After He’s Asked about Surprise Question about his Faith

First Lady Jill Biden jumped in to rescue her husband after he stopped to take questions from reporters this week.

Joe Biden said he’s observing the Catholic season of Lent, giving up sweets, including his favorite treat ice cream. But when he’s asked about his view on abortion as a Catholic, Jill comes to grab his hand.

In other words, she didn’t want him to answer. He didn’t want to “get into questions” about theology.

The host joked about the “hard hitting questions” on giving up ice cream, but noted the abortion issue is one Biden can’t win. He claims to be a Catholic and hold to the teaching of his faith, but his faith is strongly pro-life. He instead has served as perhaps the most pro-choice president in history.

His entire party, House and Senate, supports the pro-choice view, with the exception of West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, who recently opposed an abortion related bill in the Senate.
