San Francisco proper has the Cable cars. But in the suburban areas they use busses.
One bus driver cannot afford to pay rent, so he sleeps in his van and uses public showers.
I would imagine bus drivers in that area make at least $30,000 a year before the Infernal Revenuers take their piece of the pie. ;)
