SWIFT is the US backed international check clearing system which the US uses to enforce sanctions. SWIFT has allowed the US to seize $300 billion in Russian cash, maybe more than $2 trillion in total from all sanctioned nations. CBDCs are bogus DigiCash which the governments will use to track our every movement and shut down dissenters.

I doubt that the dollar will be around that long.
