Clot shots for pilots was a bad idea.

The US is currently running a remarkable safety record with commercial airline flights. If a plane goes down due to the clot shot, it could be hard to keep it a secret.

There is currently a shortage of pilots. They are thinking of increasing the mandatory retirement age. People with symptoms are grounded.

If the crash is horrific, nosediving into a field, they would likely not know why a pilot became incapacitated, but they will know that a pilot did became incapacitated. They would report that much. But an event would more likely see the other pilot declare an emergency and safely land somewhere, in which case an investigation would still be done. It would be a challenge of conflicting forces to intentionally cover that up as it would mean increasing the chance of future repeat events and people in the safety industry won't be happy about putting their reputation on the line. Not saying it wouldn't happen though.
