Wanting to live in a crime-free neighborhood is racist and discriminatory against black people, according to the ACLU.

BREAKING: Today, we settled a lawsuit with the city of Faribault, Minnesota, over its unconstitutional and discriminatory housing rental ordinance.

"Crime-free" housing ordinances are tools of racial segregation, pure and simple.

The program encouraged landlords to bar housing applicants with any criminal record and allowed police to order evictions without due process.
