Is this Russian reporting or Ukrainian reporting? It's not clear who carried out the cremations or, of course, how or why they died.

The foreign weapons would be curious evidence as it's very unlikely to completely unrealistic that mercenaries would be traveling commercially to Ukraine with such weapons. Mercenaries would generally arrive and be armed by Ukraine with Ukrainian weapons.

And it's possible these guys were killed in combat and then cremated, though why they would see a need to do that is a question. And why they would burn passports of those who had died is another question. You don't have to cremate a body to prevent them from being witnesses, and what difference would it make if Russians found identifiable bodies of foreign mercenaries? Hell, it wouldn't even prevent them from voting democrat.
