The DF-26 (Dong Feng-26) is a Chinese intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM). With its range of 4,000 km, it is China’s first conventionally-armed ballistic missile capable of striking Guam.1 The missile—China’s first nuclear-armed system “that can conduct precision strikes”—can be armed with a conventional or nuclear warhead.2 An antiship variant, the DF-26B, was tested in 2020.
Payload 1,200 – 1,800 kg (Minimum is 2,646 pounds. Range 4,000 km 2,485 plus miles. Can hit Guam as well as Taiwan. Speed is not listed.

Those payloads of 1,200 to 1,800 kgs would wipe out most underground Taiwanese sites. Their MLRS would instantaneously take out all above ground bases. They can firs 12 guided rockets in 12 seconds. They have brigades of these rockets and rocket launchers.

Mach 10 = 11,253,28 feet per second or 7,672.7 mph. So if Mach 10 missiles were fired from a few miles inland in China, they would eliminate the Taiwanese dug in forces in just one minute. The surface bases would be gone in 3 or 4 minutes from MLRS attacks.
They could declare a cease fire in 60 seconds after the last MLRS salvo was fired.
As I said before, there is no need for China to attack Taiwan. The euro will collapse this fall. The yen is already collapsing. The pound and the dollar will collapse next year before the end of summer.
