And we had enough electricity to charge them at anytime of day and any day of the year. America in many areas will be experiencing rolling blackouts. It would be nice if they were affordable. And you could drive longer distance. In California people routinely drive from the SF Bay Area to LA or about 435 miles. Not possible in an EV.
