Because most cities forbid veg gardens in the front yard you could grow Sunflowers. Might come in handy when the Dollar Dies and we get food riots.

I was able to find sprouts at the old Cash Saver store a few years ago before it closed. I think it was Radishes and a couple other things.

There was a plan to turn that store into a marijuana growing operation. They had the State permits, but the city refused to give them a business license because of the churches and schools.

Oh well. We needed the jobs and the city needed the income. They likely would have used hydroponics and grow lights. I am sure everything produced there would have been shipped by armored truck. ;)
