I could believe Russia might be having some munition and hardware shortages due to the sanctions. Supply chain issues will affect their military industry. Over time they can start producing missing things on their own, and they have all the energy they need to make that happen, but it takes a long time to build that up.

No. They outfitting an entire new Third Army Corps of 50,000 plus men with new equipment. The Iranian drones are built for combat and will cover advancing troops.
