Kiev had a far superior air defense to what the US and NATO had at the beginning of this war. But the Russians took out their S-300. The Russians are already deploying the S-500. The Philippines just bought a Mach 3 cruise missile from India. The US Navy still has a subsonic cruise missile. We are 10 to 20 years behind the Russians because of corruption.
