I think the reason why they are charging this guy, is to give the family that illusion that their child was going to get some justice for being a criminal, doing criminal things.

Had the guy shot him in the face, ONCE, instead of 9 or 10 times, from the front, this would not even be a thing. Sure he might still be getting charged but the context would be completely different to the crowd screeching about a white guy killing a gun wielding felon, who already killed someone once before.

Yeah, if you see the entire thing on Twitter, that last shot couldn't be seen as anything other than an execution shot.

Guy obviously had a bit too much adrenaline going through his veins.

Hell even the 3 or so shots before that one could be considered a bit overboard, as the robber was already down and immobile.

The guy will most likely be getting indicted.

In Texas, a case is presented to the grand jury to either bill, or no bill. The subject is present only if the case goes to trial.

The guy was down and dead by the 4th shot. Shots 5 through 8 were excessive. Shot 9, after quite a delay, looked to be an execution style head shot. All shots were to his back.

I hate to say it, but the guy should be locked away.
